Mrs. Chassay Lawson

Hello! 

My name is Chassay Lawson, and this will be my first-year teaching at MVCA! I am originally from Buchanan, Georgia, but I have spent most of my life in Wise, Virginia. I just graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and was introduced to Computer Science through my major. Since the first day working at MVCA, God has revealed that this is where He wants me. I recently got married this year to my amazing husband, Tanner Lawson, on March 14th – Pi Day! I love to read, ride bikes, and drive around listening to worship music. I didn’t know what I wanted to do after college, but God led my husband and I here; little did I know, He wanted me to be a teacher. I’m ecstatic to be teaching the youth in a Christ-centered learning environment. I pray that we all have a wonderful school year, and that God will be glorified in the process.
