Scholarships at MVCA

Mission Valley Christian Academy currently offers three scholarships.

Ace Scholarship

ACE Scholarships was founded in Colorado in 2000 to provide these low-income parents with school choice for their families through partial scholarships to K-12 private schools. ACE serves children whose families qualify for the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program and the median income for our ACE families is $32,000 a year.

Since expanding our program to Montana in 2012, ACE Scholarships has awarded close to 9,000 scholarships allowing families to send their kids to schools that are right for them. And the results are amazing, with a 92% graduation rate among ACE Scholarship recipients in Montana and 74% of Montana’s 2015 ACE graduates directly enrolling into college. MVCA staff can help you with the application.

An ACE Scholarship will pay up to 50% of private school tuition, or a maximum of $2,000 per year for grades K-8 and $3,000 per year for high school. The families are responsible for working out a payment plan with the school for the remainder of the tuition. Here is a link to see if your student qualifies:

Luke 12 Scholarship

Luke 12 Scholarships are privately funded scholarships by donors who believe strongly in Christian education and are for needy families who believe in Christian education but may not be able to afford to send their children to MVCA. We use FACTS Grant and Aid to determine your family’s eligibility for a 50 percent scholarship.

This provides an accurate, unbiased way of determining which students receive awards and how much each of those awards should total. FACTS Grant & Aid

Assessment securely collects families’ financial data through an online application and review of your family tax returns for the previous year. It is completely confidential. MVCA staff can help you with the process.

CONRAD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

No academic and/or financial need requirements. This scholarship is for a High School Student that may not desire to pursue further academics and instead desires to work in a trade following graduation. For more information and to apply, please contact the Principal or Head of School directly.

Parents would need to provide their application to ACE scholarships through the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment webpage. The submission for ACE is open to MVCA families at certain times and under specific circumstances to be determined by ACE. MVCA will notify families if they are able to apply for the scholarship. If applying for ACE and Luke-12 the application for both can be completed at the same time.

If awarded a scholarship, ACE will pay up to 50% of the tuition to a private school (up to $2,000 annually for grades K-8 and up to $3,000 annually for grades 9-12).
