Mrs. Andrea Thinglestad
I love being a part of the MVCA family! This is my eighth year
here at MVCA. After receiving my degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri many years ago, I taught 3rd grade for three years. After that I went home to raise my first-born son.
Soon after, along came three more boys. I home schooled my boys for a number of years before coming back to teaching in the classroom. Asa is now 21, Archer 19, Astin 17, and August is 15. We moved to Montana 11 years ago.
Last summer I married God’s gift to me, Danell Thingelstad.
That is a mouthful to say, so the kids at school now call me Mrs.
Thing. Since marrying this wonderful man, I gained two bonus daughters whose names also start with A, Amber (28) and Annabelle (20). I love that God gave me 6 A’s to love.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy being adventurous with my husband and any kids that join us. We enjoy hiking, fishing, floating, camping,
whitewater rafting, snowmobiling and snow skiing. I love to experience
life with them in God’s creation. There’s so much to learn and explore!
I am absolutely looking forward to learning, growing, and
adventuring with your children.
