Hello!
I am the upper school English teacher here at MVCA, which means I spend my days dissecting literature, corralling creativity, and debating the Oxford comma (spoiler: I'm pro comma). I also have the privilege of overseeing the Yearbook, Creative Writing, and Drama, so basically, I never run out of stories.
Armed with a BA in English Education from the University of Montana, I'm now in my third year at MVCA. My husband and I are Mission Valley locals, born and raised, and we've been married for nearly 11 years. Together, we're raising two incredible daughters, who have somehow inherited both our love of adventure and our snack preferences.
When I'm not grading papers or brainstorming the next school production, you'll likely find me reading, watching movies, or dominating family board game night (strategy over mercy, always). I also enjoy hiking, swimming and snowboarding-anything to keep life exciting!
I'm blessed to attend New Life Church in Polson and to serve the Lord here at MVCA. Being part of this community is a true privilege, even on those days when coffee feels like my teaching assistant.
In Christ,
Mrs. Marni Baer
