Mr. Steven Morgan
Steve Morgan is the new Head of School and High School Principal at Polson’s Mission Valley Christian Academy, bringing with him a wealth of experience from 42 years in education. Throughout his career, Steve has made significant contributions to public education, having served as a middle school teacher, Traffic Education instructor, K-12 principal, and
superintendent. His leadership and dedication have shaped the lives of countless students and educators.
In addition to his administrative roles, Steve has a rich coaching background, having coached track, basketball, and volleyball for many years in the Flathead Valley. His commitment to student-athletes earned him recognition with two School District #5 Faculty Appreciation Awards for his outstanding contributions to Kalispell’s athletic programs. Steve has also been a prominent figure in the Montana Traffic Education Association (MTEA), serving as its president and on the executive board for several years. His 35-year career as a high school volleyball official, alongside his past role as a basketball official with the Montana Officials Association, further highlights his dedication to sportsmanship and student involvement.
Steve’s wife, Kim, is a Kalispell native, and the two have been married for 45 years. Together, they have shared a passion for praise and worship, leading music ministries in churches and Christian conferences throughout Montana and Wyoming. They have also served as church youth leaders, helping to nurture the faith of young people. Outside of their professional and spiritual commitments, the Morgan family enjoys a variety of outdoor
activities, including hunting, fishing, rock hounding, and camping.
