Ms. Alana Damron
Miss Alana "Miss A' Damron is honored and overjoyed to serve as MVCA's K-12 Art teacher. Born in Havre, MT and raised in the deep South, she now calls western Montana home. “Miss A” spent the last decade using creativity to build God's Kingdom through marketing management and worship leadership in churches and youth ministries in Missoula, Montana. Her professional experience includes photography, graphic design, social media management, worship leadership, marketing and songwriting.
Miss A's greatest joy is encouraging others to see themselves as God's masterpieces. She often reminds them: "You were made ON purpose FOR a purpose-to know and be known, to love and be loved, by our Creator, Savior, Jesus Christ." She longs for her students to embrace their identity in Christ and to use their creativity to glorify God.
Outside of school, Miss A delights in being "Aunta" to her three beautiful nieces and a dog mom to two miniature Aussie Shepherds, Obi Poe and Boomer. Whether in the classroom, leading worship, or serving Christian ministries, her heart beats to see EVERYONE know the transforming love our Creator & Savior - Jesus Christ! She sees MVCA as a place where she can keep learning, growing and spreading God’s love and light.
